There are several things I do not understand though.

First of all I am not that long on here or had contact with these kind of games. But honestly I do not see much different from other games which also take months to fisnish for 40-50 Minutes of "gameplay" . So i do not even see much difference from other games on here.

I also never saw him lying. He even explained why it is so difficult for him to find other people. It is mostly a trust issue for him ao it is probably a difficult situation. And given his patreons who PAY for this game they seem pretty happy giving the comments.

And I dont think criticism is the problem here. But the baiscally the Onlyfans effect I explained earlier. if you are not interested in this game or it makes you upset why are these people always here and not wait for the next update at least to complain.


Honestly If I were L&P and I would read here everyday I would also lose motivation and the will communicate outside his patreons. Of all the games I currently follow this is the one thread with the most negativity on a constant basis shitting on the developer. Thats also why I do not want to share anything public whats on his patreon. If I would post the teaser there sure would be poeple being upset about not seeing her pussy or her getting fucked already.

I think we have to keep in mind that this is not a normal situation, Sophia experiences a mixture of humiliation, sexual arousal, fear, shame... She is on the edge, and her reaction can't be normal, it's multiplied. In front of Liam nothing would happen but in front of her own students any stimulus can multiply several times.

To each his own, but these toys (remote vibrating eggs) exist because a lot of people like them, as myself. I think it would be very erotic if Aiden would do that with Sophia in class, with the risk of being discover by the whole class. That's not my point, which is that the only person really enjoying this visually would be Aiden & even he is at the back of the class. After the tour de force that was the 3rd task & the limitations of the classroom, it could be expected that the 4th task might not be the feast for the eyes that the 3rd one was but watching a woman grimacing & twisting & trying to look unconcerned, (while doing the internal monologue routine?), might not be all that great. I don't know whether the setting would multiply the effect, (I have my doubts) but if it did, this would only make the above-imagined reactions worse.

I'm not going for the sex toy idea. And I still think that at school it has to look "accidental", "unintentional", otherwise it's provocation, striptease in front of her own students, which is... grounds for firing.

This lack of trust all stems from him having moved the goalposts on the targets he announced when he started. This happened when they were achieved. Things, not surprisingly, went downhill from there. I agree that some comments could be hard to take for even a thick-skinned individual (& L&P seems to be of an "artistic temperament") but trust is a 2-way street.

One reason why much criticism can be observed in this thread concerns the sheer size of it. It's huge & that's a sign of the interest this VN generates. Even the release to a select audience of the most recent teaser created a buzz, whether for good or not being a matter of opinion. "There's no such thing as bad publicity" is an over-used old adage but it has a strong element of truth, especially when applied to the creative arts.

Personally, I try to aim for balance in praise & criticism, secure in the knowledge that as it comes from a pirate, it will largely be ignored, either way.

I can't blame the dev for enjoying the fruits of his labor and slowing development, if he really is paid as much as I have seen people say be thankful he hasn't simply abandoned the whole thing and disappeared to go live on a beach somewhere. :ROFLMAO: this happens all the time "when I've already been paid, why care?" only the most honest, forward thinking people can resist that temptation.

To be honest it's not high science to figure out what kind of a liars most of adult game developers are. They act like they create some Michelangelo quality level sh*t type of game and always moan about how hard they work even though they release 2-3 months worth of labor in 1 year or how bad their pc is even though they get thousands of dollars per month on Patreon.

All it takes to see through the crap of those developers is to not be a simp and stop acting like fool believing in every word somebody says on interent.

I think part of the issue is L&P's decision to announce a 30-day game timeline.

I've theorised before that there's an added 'Watched pot never boils' aura to this game.
Looking at Jessica O'neils Hard News, the game I think most comparable to this one; female protagonist, corruption based, similar art style and render quality and updates for that game are also taking longer and longer to release. Yet - there isn't nearly as much complaining in the Hard News thread as here.

When Hard News gets an update, the player-base are saying 'Great, more content'.
When A Wife and Mother gets an update, the player-base are saying 'Greeeat, 40.3 percent of the way there'

When this game first released a lot of people presumed it was a Sprint, over time we've learned that it's actually a Marathon. A lot of people here (including myself sometimes) are guilty of counting every quarter mile of that marathon like '9 down, 96 left to go' instead of just focusing on putting one foot in front of the other.
